Basalt fiber yarn is made of basalt fiber bulk yarn which is texturized by high pressure air. The forming principle is: when high-speed airflow enters bulked channel, there’s turbulent flow formed; this kind of flow disperses basalt fibers to be looped pile fibers, which gives basalt fiber bulkiness, then bulked yarns are produced. It has properties of anti-aging, high-temperature resistant, acid and alkali-resistant, strong binding force to concrete and resin, flame retardant and good insulation, low moisture absorption, can replace carbon fiber and aramid fiber in some aspects.

5. Mixture with bulked yarns and continuous fibers is better than other fabrics on tearing strength, elasticity, and abrasive resistance. So this mixture is the first choice for covering asphalt, rubber and plastic products, also the good material for filtering fabric with high-temperature resistance and high-level needled felt.
